The Climakers Regional Workshop – Africa

On October 21, 2021, THE CLIMAKERS African Community, including farmers and other stakeholders of the agricultural sector, convened both physically and digitally to shine a light on the best practices on climate change mitigation and adaptation implemented by the farmers and their organizations in the African region.
THE CLIMAKERS Africa workshop took place in the framework of the Pan African Farmers’ Organisation (PAFO) General Assembly.
PAFO is an active member of the “Farmers Driven Climate Change Alliance” since February 2020.
The event was the occasion for a brilliant moment of exchange and debate during which participants shared with the audience what climate change means to them and how African farmers are coping with these unprecedented challenges implementing climate-smart and resilient agricultural practices.
