On April 13, 2022, the Latin America and Caribbean Climakers community, including farmers and other stakeholders, will convene digitally for a special regional workshop “Strengthening Farmers Advocacy in Shaping NDCs: Farmers to Farmers Knowledge Exchange”
Jointly organised by the World Farmers’ Organisation and PROCASUR, this one-day digital event aims at reporting back on the NDCs guidelines: “The Climakers Guidelines for Policy Makers” developed in 2021 and presented globally at COP26, strengthening the capacity of farmers and farmers’ organisations to advocate for successful, replicable and scalable practices to be taken into account in the development of Nationally Determined Contributions which will be submitted in 2023, based on the Paris Agreement commitments.
