The Climakers Taller Regional – Europa

The second Regional Consultation took place on November 14th, 2019, in Brussels, Belgium.
The event was organized by the European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) and hosted by the Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations-General Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives (COPA-COGECA).
The event welcomed 140 participants, including farmers, stakeholders, policymakers and researchers.
Dedicated sessions on livestock, carbon farming, and adaptation and resilience followed showcasing best practices from farmers around Europe and what they are doing to mitigate and adapt to climate change. These were presented alongside inputs on the current state of research and legislation from academics, policymakers and private sector organisations.
